Extra Curricular Activity information on the Environment Society

The Environment Society was founded in January 2017. The society aims to educate, conserve and tackle environmental issues. It is a society which is meant for all those who care deeply about our home, the Planet Earth.

In the first phase of its journey, the society worked to create awareness about Wetlands by creating posters as well as talking to pupils about the Wetlands. The visit to the Beddegana Wetland Park was one of the first outdoor activities carried out.

We have initiated various fundraising projects in order to raise funds for our future projects. We organised our inaugural Bake Sale ‘Eat for the Environment'.
