The British School in Colombo expects all children to uphold the school’s high standards and expectations. The wearing of the school uniform in a proper and respectful manner is a vital part of belonging to our school community. Uniforms give students a sense of belonging to the school and create an identity for the school.
Whether students are on the school site or off, it is their responsibility to ensure that the school uniform is worn correctly. Being smart in appearance reinforces their sense of pride and their sense of belonging to the British School in Colombo.
We request that parents support their children in achieving this by ensuring their child has the correct uniform and it is kept in good condition. There is a uniform shop at school which stocks all uniform items.
