KS1 Nativity 2022

‘Twas the night before Christmas and all round the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse ... The peace and quiet of Christmas Eve was disturbed by a noisy clatter outside. Who can it be? ‘The Night Before Christmas’ was a magical, musical adaptation of the well-known nineteenth century rhyme of the same name. This heart-warming tale brought the magic of Christmas to life in a fantastically festive setting.

Christmas has officially started! It was lovely to start the Christmas celebrations in school with the KS1 Nativity on 5^th and 6^th December 2022.

The children, despite having no reference point for the nativity (having never seen one or been in one), sang, danced and spoke with such confidence and enthusiasm. Once again, we are reminded me of the importance of being in physical school and the importance of ensuring that every child has the opportunity to showcase their talents and to be involved in the arts.

The children loved every second of the rehearsals and performance from the scampering mice to the barking of Bella the dog. A huge thanks goes to the KS1 team and specialist teachers for bringing ‘The Night Before Christmas’ to life….the children, staff and parents will be humming the tunes for many weeks to come!
