Year 12 Induction Day

After what seemed a lifetime, on 21^st of August the year 12s returned to start their two-year pathway toward their life beyond BSC. It was a wonderful thing to have the 6^th form students back in school and helping them prepare for their challenging learning journey to come. Among the logistics of understanding timetables and finding out room numbers, the new year 12 students had in introduction to 6^th form life. They followed a presentation by Mr. Rusling on school in the ‘new normal’ and what to expect from 6^th form. They were able to ask candid questions and hear honest answers from the prefects who were returning for year 13. Students spent time getting to know their form teacher who will be their pastoral mentor through the next two years. The students were introduced to their subject teachers and had a taste of the work to come in three introductory lessons. All the students were delighted to see school mates they had been apart from and we welcomed new students with typical British School warmth and support. Although socially distant our new year 12 were thrilled to be back together.
