We had Mathematics workshops for parents of Year 7 students on Tuesday 1st of October 2019, parents of year 9 students on Wednesday 2nd October 2019 and on Thursday 3rd October 2019 the workshop was for parents of year 10 students whose children began their IGCSE courses in Year 10. All three workshops started at 7.45 am.
These workshops allowed parents an opportunity to understand how Mathematics is taught; provided a syllabus overview of topics that their child will be studying in Year 7 and key stage 3, years 10 and 11 as well as providing information on how to best support their child at home with Mathematics. This workshop gave an insight about how children can make use of the online resources like Microsoft Teams and Myimaths for the better learning. The workshop also provided an overview of what is expected from students by Cambridge International Examinations. Presentation slides for years 7, 9 and 10 workshops will be sent to parents in parent portal.
