Curious about Canada?

This week students of Year 12 and 13 were given a presentation about the opportunities available in Canada by the University of Carleton, which is located in the Canadian capital city of Ottawa. Canada is a destination which is becoming increasingly popular for higher university studies for international students.  As Canadian universities are all highly regulated by the Canadian government, it is true to say that we can trust all 100 higher education institutions in the country to deliver education that is of a high standard. 

Another reason many BSC families are interested in Canada is because it offers an automatic 3 year working visa to all international graduates of Canadian universities, allowing students the opportunity to gain vital work experience before returning to work in Sri Lanka, or applying for permanent residence in Canada. Canada is certainly a vast country with many opportunities worth considering.
