As a part of our geography curriculum “My local area”, Year 1 children visited the Independence Square with their favourite teddy to have a picnic.

This excursion helped them to know their sense of place around the school and encouraged them to describe a route.
Children were able to identify and differentiate between human and physical features in their environment.
In addition to their learning experience, they enjoyed sharing food with their friends and exploring the local area with much enthusiasm.
