BSC MUN appointed our Office Bearers for this Academic Year at the Prize Giving this year, and as their first duty in Office, they coordinated our fabulous delegates Prisha and Theekshana, and trained them to represent BSC at this weekend’s NYMUN Conference which was held at the BMICH from 7.30 am – 5pm on both, September 29th and 30th.
The National Youth Model United Nations has become one of Sri Lanka’s fastest growing Conferences, and both Prisha and Theekshana did so well to represent Team BSC in all their debating splendor! Our past Society President, Avantha Jayasinghe, went on to win Best Delegate at this Conference, and it was a pleasure to have seen him continue to uphold the BSC legacy in and around Colombo, before he heads off to University later this month.
We now look forward to COMUN 2019, with so many of our students having been appointed as EXCO Members! More news on this will follow in our next Newsletter update.
I wish Janek, Husein, Chanya and Mandri all the very best in their tenure, and have full confidence in their ability to lead this Society to even greater heights of achievement and success!
