On Tuesday one hundred eager Year 6 students made their way to the second and third floors to begin their final year in the Junior School. There was a lot of excitement (and a few nerves!) but the students have begun the term positively, with enthusiasm and confidence.
In class the students participated in a range of team-building and icebreaker activities so they could get to know their new classmates and teachers better. Activities included creating self portraits that displayed their interests and hobbies, playing '2 truths and a lie', writing letters to their new class teacher and giving impromptu speeches about themselves.
Both the students and teachers are looking forward to the many exciting opportunities ahead this year.
