Year 3 Trip to the Zoo

Year 3 had a fantastic time on our trip to the zoo! The aim of the trip wasn’t just to look at the animals and walk around the zoo, but to use these animals to help draw real life sketches to help in their art lessons. We were so lucky with the animals we saw, including lion cubs, baby orangutans, a chimp stomping around, elephants relaxing in the sun and a tiger splashing around in the water. The children were able to draw some excellent sketches which they should be very proud of. Although it was a hot day, the children were fantastically behaved and represented the British School in a truly positive manner!
