The Bronze-level students completed their adventurous journeys in March this year after their training which began in November last year. They completed their pre-journeys in December. This week on Tuesday the 30th of May 2017, the teams made their final presentations in front of an audience of fellow students, staff and invited parents.
It was quite rewarding to hear our young adventurers recount their journey experiences reflectively. The sincerity in the reflective comments made by each individual on personal growth and his or her learning of different perspectives stood out in the presentations. It was quite clear that every student has developed a deep sense of affinity to nature and wanted to play a more responsible role in spreading this awareness.
The individual focus projects presented also brought out the deeper learning that went on during their journeys in the Sinharaja Rainforest.
I wish all our Bronze-level entrants all the best in successfully completing their Award in the coming months.
