Senior School Novel Knockout

Mukesh of year 7A was judged the winning reader in the inaugural Novel Knockout competition that was concluded on 24^th May 2017, while Aditi of 7A and  Pethara of 8A were  joint 2^nd place winners. The competition which was held this year in collaboration with Book Week, was an opportunity to introduce students to much loved and somewhat forgotten favourites as well as modern classics. There was a series of activities in connection with the Novel Knockout, which comprised of ‘book talks’ by teachers of the English Department and activities to generate engagement and enthusiasm with the selected novels. Novel Knockout was an overall success and it will henceforth be an annual activity in the English Department and Senior library  calendar.
