Swimming galas are always an exhilarating time at our school, filled with enthusiasm, friendly competition, and a strong sense of camaraderie. This year, the Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 swim galas were no exception, showcasing the incredible talents and sportsmanship of our young aquatic athletes. Held at the school pool on October 2nd and October 5th respectively, these events were a true testament to the spirit of participation and enjoyment in aquatic sports.
Year 3/4 Swimming Gala:
On Monday, October 2nd, the school pool was alive with energy as our Year 3/4 students took center stage for their swim gala. The pool area was transformed into a lively arena, with colorful decorations and cheers from the audience. The air was filled with anticipation as the young swimmers prepared to showcase their aquatic skills.
The events included a variety of individual races and team relays, challenging the participants' speed, stamina, and technique. Each child demonstrated remarkable determination, pushing themselves to achieve their personal best. The cheers and encouragement from fellow classmates and teachers further fueled their enthusiasm.
