Year 1 has been enthusiastic about studying colour and associating various colour groups for different paintings and drawings. They have made use of a variety of techniques in manipulating paper to create Picture frames and Christmas crafts. They also had a ‘Bring your soft toy’ day where they were keen on learning to observe and draw their favourite soft toy using the design elements of shape, colour and patterns.

Whereas, Year 2 have been engaged in more challenging skills such as combining their imagination and art drawing techniques to illustrate more detailed creations using paint and mixed media. They also engaged in interesting class discussions on topics such as food artists and simple design products found in the market, Ex: Scratch pad.
