BSC Quiz Night

On Friday 30 September, we were pleased to be given the opportunity to once again hold a BSC Quiz Night. After a long couple years of absence, it was so much fun to get this going again; To give people an event that they can have a good time at and raise some money while we are at it. Apparently the questions were too hard (our bad, sorry), however we hope people had as much fun taking part as we did hosting it. Beyond having fun, all proceeds from the night are being donated to The Serendipity Project, providing surgical supplies for Balapitiya Base Hospital. We are ecstatic to announce that we managed to collect over 140,000 LKR in donations and ticket sales, and are so proud of the BSC community for donating to such a worthy cause. With any luck, who knows, we might be able to host another one before we finish our time at BSC, done even bigger and even better than this one!  

Furthermore, we think that this event stands as a testament to what the student body of BSC is capable of when we take initiative: Producing a successful event such as this displays some of the many amazing facets that make up a student of our school. 

Finally, we would like to send out our heartiest thanks to the Events Team, PTA and teachers for helping us bring the event to life. We couldn’t have done it without them supporting us along the way.
