This term KS3 was given a challenge to design and build a class totem pole to represent the shared values of their form group.
To start off, students researched animals that could represent the shared qualities of the group before designing, delegating responsibilities and building the totem in class.
They used PURPLE, the code of conduct and the class charter to help them with the class vision.
The classes had to explain which animals they have chosen and what they represent, why certain colours were used, the order the animals are placed and why they selected the materials to make the Totem pole to the judges.
Winners of the challenge will be announced in assembly next week
