In morning registration on Thursday 28th February the University of Calgary, from Alberta in Canada, came to speak to students from our Sixth Form interested in studying in Canada for their further studies.
Canada is an increasingly popular option for graduates of BSC, with its strong educational institutions, breathtaking landscapes, and welcoming immigration policies. Graduates of Canadian Universities are welcome to stay in Canada for up to 3 years after graduation to gain work experience in their chosen field.
In recent years our students have gone on to attended the universities of Carlton, Guelf, Simon Fraser, Toronto, and the UBC. In the current Year 13, two students are applying to the University of Calgary, and many others are applying to other Canadian Universities.
