Inter-House Debating 2018 Begins!

Our judges and audience were treated to three days of thought provoking and articulate debate as teams from Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 took the floor in the preliminary rounds of the annual Inter-House Debating Competition on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon.

Our House Teams did battle over a range of current topics that had been well-researched. Our judges had a very tough job of deciding who would proceed through to next week’s finals that promise to be a treat to listen to.

Teams from all Houses, Nobel, Newton, Scott and Shakespeare must be congratulated for the time spent in researching and planning their presentations. Our debaters showed confidence, skill and real engagement with the range of topics presented. Congratulations to all of our teams!
