Cambridge Conference – 27th and 28th November 2018

This week, leaders from across the Junior School descended on a hotel in Colombo for this year’s Cambridge Conference. The conference is always an important part of our being a Cambridge Curriculum school. The theme for this year was Creating the Conditions for Success and this was explored through keynote presentations, workshops and break-out sessions.

There was something to take away or consider from each of the keynotes this year: they challenged us and made us think hard about how we are creating the right conditions for success in our school. Learning throughout the two days brought together ideas, best practice and models from more than 40 countries. We are excited about integrating some of the ideas into our current practice so that children continue to experience the conditions in which they can thrive and enjoy success.
