The young pilots of the Aviation Club of The British School in Colombo take part in Aviation Quiz

The young pilots of the Aviation Club of The British School in Colombo had the invaluable opportunity of taking part in the Aviation quiz organized by the Aeronautical Academy of Ananda College in collaboration with the Asian Aviation Centre on Tuesday, 16th of October at Ananda College premises. Our formidable team consisted of co-pilots Rithesh Kithudasa , Jordan Fernando, Dina De Silva , Mahasen Weerawardhana and captain Vidusha Chandransena. The first round comprised of a variety of questions that evaluated their knowledge in Aviation and basics Physics while the second round evaluated their understanding of space through a team presentation on the topic ‘Space’. Our young pilots made us proud by completing their tasks quite remarkably. We expect the results in January.

The second competition evaluated the students’ skills in creating paper planes. The youngest members of the team Mahasen weerawardhana, Sashan Samaradiwakara, Aakah Schaffter and Ashendra Aluwihare took part in it quite eagerly.

It was a pleasure to witness their enthusiasm, vast knowledge in Aviation and team spirit. Well done Aviation team!
