General Senior

Last Saturday (20th January 2018) was another busy prep day for the Bronze-Level Adventurers, as they completed their First Aid Training in preparation for the upcoming qualifying journeys.

Twenty-seven students spent their Saturday learning and practising First Aid skills essential for outdoor life. These students will be expected to carry their own personal first aid kit on the journey, be responsible for health and safety of their team, and apply basic first aid as and when needed.

The training was conducted by staff from the Life Support and Nursing Care (Pvt) Ltd. The British School staff and students have been receiving their First Aid Training from Ms Thuwaraha Chandrakumar and Mr Elger Issac for the last two years.

Mr Elger is also attached to our International Trained Activity Provider, Adventure SEALs, and is one of the first aiders for our Adventurous Journeys.

Ms Sylvana Marjan organised the First Aid Training Day and Mr Fergus Whiteside supervised the students in training on Saturday.
