BSC Staff First Aid Training

In the British School in Colombo, we believe that anybody working with people, big or small should be able to ensure the safety and well-being of our BSC Family as best as we could. With this in mind, we provide opportunity to staff to train in First Aid every year, either in a beginner’s course or through a refresher course.

Whether it is to reassure a young mind to promote their personal well-being during the school day or to alleviate hurt and provide emergency care and treatment during an injury or illness as quickly as possible, BSC believes in providing a safe and secure environment that will promote learning at the highest level for all of her Family.

The year’s staff training for First Aid was held last Saturday 26th of August 2017. It was a fun and enjoyable day with many staff keen on learning the new guidelines in First Aid as well as refreshing their knowledge in First Aid administration.
