It was a joyful and pleasant start to welcoming the Year 4 Batch of 2023-2024. We were also delighted to welcome new BSC students. We are delighted to announce that the Year 4 family is now complete, with 100 students fully engaged.
We began this term with a bang in Block 1, igniting the spark of innovation and curiosity in our Year 4 students. As they embarked on their learning journey, they delved into the enchanting world of "Lucy and the Giant Spotted Whale," enhancing their skills in newspaper writing, and embraced the art of crafting informal letters. It has been a captivating start that has truly stimulated their inquisitive minds.
In the realm of science, our Year 4s have been on a fascinating adventure exploring living things and their diverse habitats. Encouraging their independent research skills, we've tasked them with the exciting challenge of diving deeper into the world of vertebrates and invertebrates. It's been a rewarding experience witnessing their enthusiasm for exploration.
Transitioning back to school after a restful summer break can be a challenge, but our Year 4 students have risen to the challenge admirably. We are excited to see them not only embracing these academic challenges but also forging new friendships along the way.
During this academic block, we pay special attention to and commend students who demonstrate a remarkable sense of self-assurance and self-belief, demonstrating "Confidence" as they engage in their learning activities.
As we move forward, we are excited about the incredible learning opportunities Year 4 has in store. Our curriculum includes thrilling experiments, enriching field trips, and captivating nature walks, all designed to foster a deep love for learning and the world around us.
