Golden Table

In Junior School we have been collecting ideas from staff and pupils on how to make our breaktimes better and were pleased to launch The Golden Canteen Rules this half term. We are encouraging pupils to line up calmly, walk sensibly, talk quietly with those on their table, be polite, leave the table tidy and show good table manners. When children are demonstrating these behaviours they are awarded a golden ticket. At the end of the week a few golden tickets are drawn at random and the winners are invited to sit at the Golden Table to celebrate. Next week we will be focusing on talking quietly to those on our table.
