Well done to everyone gaining their badge, please see the photo gallery for more pictures. Every child has the opportunity to demonstrate and develop leadership skills throughout their time at BSC. These skills are developed in all classes during group work where co-operation and responsibility are fostered. Year 6 were reminded as the oldest year group in the junior school they are all important role models in school.

Next week we look forward to announcing the process for becoming a Pupil Council member in Key Stage 2 to help support both their class and the school with development ideas and feedback.

Key attributes children will demonstrate and develop.

All students at BSC demonstrate and develop the Cambridge learner attributes: Confident, Responsible, Reflective, Innovative and Engaged. Those who are chosen to become part of the year 6 leadership team must show they consistently demonstrate and develop these attributes throughout year 5 in order to be considered. All children are judged against these attributes in their termly reports.
