FOBISIA Online Mathematics challenge 2019

It was great to see many students from years 7 and 8 challenged themselves in the FOBISIA online mathematics competition conducted by Garden International School Rayong, Thailand. Competitions were designed in four different challenges – Starter, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Students got three chances to get 100% score in each challenge. Difficulty level varied as they moved in each challenge. It gave them a real boost in their confidence. Around 8000 students from more than 45 FOBISIA schools took part in this competition.

13 students from years 7 and 8 scored 100% in the starter challenge. 10 students got 100% in both Bronze and starter Challenge, 3 students form year 8 got 100% score for Starter, Bronze and Silver challenge. The platinum winners are students who get 100% score in all four challenges. We have 10 students from years 6,7 and 8 are Platinum Winners of this year’s online Maths Challenge.

These challenges helped students to improve their problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box. This will really help pupils in their normal maths lessons. Certificate for each challenge will be distributed soon.
