Year 5 enjoy the introduction of Kaspar - Prince of Cats - in Literacy

Year 5 have a busy and fun filled start to the new academic year. This week saw the start of the full curriculum being taught after spending valuable time last week getting to know each other and adapting to life and routines in upper key stage two.

A highlight for all children has been the introduction of Kaspar - Prince of Cats - in Literacy lessons. He is an unforgettable character of the highest class! Through shared reading, drama and discussion we have been developing our love of reading as well as our ability to infer and deduce information. This will enable us to move on to writing about characters as equally loveable and excitable as Kasper in future weeks.

Year 5 look forward to a fantastic term full of exciting learning opportunities.
