The long awaited Activities Week kick-started on Monday 18th June 2018 with the first day dedicated to Extra Curricular Activities. Various departments in the Senior School organised 23 different activities so every student got an opportunity to participate in an activity each day.
The activities ran for three days and the students experienced a wide range of activities from spending a day developing self-awareness and mindfulness to making models in creative Art, Science, Engineering, Maths, Geography, and Modern Foreign Languages. Some explored optical illusions, while others worked on various video projects. Some discussed topics on sustainability and eco-conservation, while others painted pots and planted herbs. Some cooked and baked while some engaged in problem-solving Mathematical puzzles. Some played a variety of sports while others worked on life skills.
The Mini-Sports Day, Art Attack, Science Camp, as well as Teen-treprenuer 2018 were the most popular choices this year, while Think.Explore.Grow, Mindful Day (Sathi Pasala), MFL Camp, Young Innovators with IgniterSpace provided new and enjoyable experiences to the participants.
While it was clear the students enjoyed their chosen activities, they also displayed their numerous talents in creativity, critical thinking and application of knowledge to given situations.
