This week, Year 5 and 6 present the production of 'Robin Hood and the Sherwood Hoodies'. Howard Pyle's classic tale has been re-imagined and elements of comedy and action have been interwoven with the traditional story. This modern-twist sees spies, henchmen, superheroes and the villagers of Sherwood engaged in battle. The show promises great entertainment with several 'laugh out loud' moments!
During the production process, not only do the children sing, dance and act wonderfully but they are given a unique opportunity to develop their teamwork skills, confidence and sense of responsibility as they are placed out of their comfort zones and have to take responsibility for themselves.
The Year 5 and 6 students have worked tirelessly this term to put this wonderful show together - well done Year 5 and 6!
