The Music Department, Choir and Instrumentalists led a spectacular traditional Bakthi Gee to usher in the Vesak Season.
In a whole-school assembly, we were reminded of the significance of Vesak in the Buddhist calendar, the life of Lord Buddha and the significant beliefs of the Buddhist philosophy. This was accompanied by traditional songs that were led by the School Choir and Instrumentalists.
It was a wonderful opportunity for all members of our diverse international community to celebrate and mark a significant event that is important to life, customs and traditions of Sri Lanka.
