BSC’s Basketball team is back and better than ever!

The boys’ and girls’ team after a long break finally are back again. Hosted by BSC, a friendly match took place on the 11^th of March against CIS. The girls match commenced first; the atmosphere was hot but not like the fire in these girls. 

Tension was thick on the court and both teams pumped with adrenaline. BSC heading straight for the strategy, the teams collecting every bit of information from each other to focus more defence and encouraging each other to do their best. 

The girl’s game starts and the teams are roaring, advising their teammates by the benches. Both teams are desperate for the first basket. Defences on both sides are not willing to back out, going back and forth for more than half the quarter, not allowing a single basket in. CIS scored first but BSC got the lead with Dinadi getting the first three-pointer in the game. The first quarter was the most intense. 

Defence on both sides grew by half time. By this time the teams has a good margin, resulting in more physical sacrifices, including being elbowed in the chest and straight hits to the leg. Offence proportionally grew with Sara driving in keeping up the score and excitement between CIS and Safiyah and Siluni never letting and opportunity pass to take a shot.  

The game ended 15-27 and no one disappointed. BSC girls enjoyed every moment of the game, their training and screams helping them along the way. They never stopped their chants however, screaming at the boys next game till their they lost their voices the next day.
