Any organization provides simple answers to three common questions:
What do we do? We enable children to learn.
How do we do it? By delivering an exciting and engaging curriculum and co- curriculum, using technology to maximise learning opportunities.
Why do we do it? To enable children to be the very best version of themselves.
We want children to be creative problem solvers, with a growth mindset, with values, attitudes and attributes that will serve them well in life

Our Values, Attitudes and Attributes |
---|
We value Academic Excellence, Relationships, Personal Enrichment, Ethics and Environmental Sustainability.
Academic Excellence
Learning and the enjoyment of learning is central to everything we do. We have high expectations of our pupils and have a strong track record in enabling them to achieve, and often exceed, them. We have qualified, enthusiastic and dedicated staff, who are encouraged to share good practice.
Relationships
Developing and sustaining positive relationships is essential for successful learning. Relationships between children and between children and staff are based on mutual trust and respect. The atmosphere of the school is one of a caring family where problems are resolved, and achievements are praised. We are alert to the potential for bullying to happen and, when incidents are reported, we take action immediately and always involve parents.
Personal Enrichment
We believe a good education is more than achieving excellent examination results. We provide a wide range of activities in which all children can participate. Children are encouraged to become leaders and to face up to personal challenge.
Ethics
We have clear expectations for behaviour from all members of our community. We expect excellent behaviour, whether in school or out of school on an activity or visit. Children learn the importance of right and wrong and making decisions for their own behaviour based upon a strong moral code. All pupils are treated fairly and without discrimination.
Environmental Sustainability
Environmental sustainability entails minimizing our impact on the environment to the benefit of a more sustainable future for coming generations. We achieve this goal by actively implementing measurable strategies to reduce our impact on the environment. We want to do our part by ensuring that our impact on the environment is as small as possible. We will continuously try to identify areas within our organisation that we can change to become more environmentally sustainable.
We seek to develop young people who have a positive attitude to life, with a growth mindset and a recognition of the importance of kindness.
A growth mindset encourages our children to relish learning, embrace challenge and to be restless to improve. We also seek to develop in our children the qualities of being friendly, generous and considerate. We define this as being kind, which is actively promoted throughout the school.
We embrace the Cambridge Teacher and Learner Attributes as central to everything we do: to develop Confident, Independent, Engaged, Reflective and Responsible teachers and learners.
