Junior School Science Week 2022

In celebration of Science Week 2022, our children fully embraced all things ‘science’. It was an exciting week in which children immersed themselves in different scientific professions. Starting with our dress-up day on Monday, the children kick-started their week by all looking like super scientists.

Children then engaged in a wide range of experiments across the school. In Early Years, we had a brand new batch of paleontologists to Year One, who were all zoologists. Pupils in Year Two explored plants as they became botanists whilst our Year Three pupils became marine biologists. When considering Greening the Purple, our experts in Year Four will be able to help as they transformed into environmental scientists as our forensic division in Year Five was in full operation. Finally, our Year Six pupils became medical scientists and considered the impact scientists have on modern medicine.

All of our children had a truly fantastic time as part of this themed week and it was wonderful to see them so enthusiastic about science. Keep your eyes peeled for the video uploaded on your child’s All Users team today too.
